SNOWMAN Banded Ride Report

Banded November Report

Snowman

29/11/24

So there we were, circa 79 intrepid mountaineers looking to scale the lofty heights to witness the little-often seen Snowman.

The vibe was spot on from the start, lots of chatter and lots of chuckles. These rides really lift my spirits, a beautiful band of folk who, often, wouldn’t get to ride together. The rubber band is a thing of joy in my opinion, it affords us all the opportunity to come together and ride. No pressure, no sweeping, just pure, unadulterated fun. Granted, the hills test our legs and lungs a bit, but we remain as one tight unit, sharing jokes and stories.

Couple of minor eek moments today where one or two riders dropped but, with the help of the blob, we got them back into the warm snuggles of the group. Teamwork, that is what Wobble is all about. When we race, we race, but when we ride as a group, we ride as a group.

Next month we will have a bigger challenge, one of mighty proportions not usually taken on by most. But together we will conquer it, together we will ride and together we will laugh until our little bladders can’t stand it anymore 🤣

Keep your eyes peeled for the advert and please do come and join us. More people = more fun.

Until then….Wobble On 😘
